UNSTUCK

Do you ever feel stuck in your relationship with your teenager? Do you wish you had better tools to have meaningful conversations with them?

 

NextGen & youth ministers from E-Free, Crestview, and UCC simply started asking the question, "What if?" which led us to "Why not?" And we think we have an event you don't want to miss!

Unstuck is a collaborative, community event to give parents (with kids of any age) and teenagers practical tools to have conversations about things like mental health, sexual integrity, and more. Parents with teens are encouraged to attend together!

 

We have invited nationally-renowned speaker & author Dr. Jim Burns to share the afternoon with us. Jim is the President of HomeWord and the Executive Director of the HomeWord Center for Youth and Family at Azusa Pacific University.

 

There will be 2 main session times, one where teens and parents are separate, and a second where we bring everyone together.

 

The event will take place on Sunday, January 26th from 3:30-7:30pm on the campus of Manhattan Christian College. The cost is $10 per individual or $20 per family (2 or more from the same household). Please contact Josh Nelson if you have any questions or would like to inquire about a scholarship.

At 7:30 following the event, there will be a free community Dodgeball Tournament for students!
